I worked with the Helix Centre to illustrate and design this activity card game.

The Helix Centre is a health care innovation initiative set up by the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London with the aim to improve health through innovation.

This game was designed to encourage children to be more active by being silly in an energetic manner. The deck features a different action on each card, which the players must combine and perform.

I designed the Logo, packaging and general look of the game, illustrated the actions on the cards themselves and got involved with coming up with some of the moves and a bit of copy writing as well.

A really fun commission for the children’s activity section of Waitrose magazine for Eye to Eye Media. I created a suite of jungle themed illustrations including small spot illustrations for a jungle maths puzzle, a baby ocelot, a dancing elephant wearing a fez for a how to draw activity and a jungle scene spot the difference game.

Character archetype designs for an internal campaign for Volkswagen.

I was commissioned by Volkswagen to create a suite of six characters, each of which represents a different personality or work style archetype to help employees identify which type fits them most closely and how best to use their unique skillset to within the company.

The images were used for posters and flyers which were displayed and distributed within the Volkswagen company offices.

Book illustrations for The Intrapreneurs Guide to pathfinding, a guide book designed to help people to identify opportunities to instigate positive change within organisations, to create positive social and environmental impact.

This space exploration themed book features a wealth of illustrated content including personality archetype portraits, a bookmark and a large foldout map depicting problems and pitfalls commonly encountered by adventurers on their path to intrapreneurship.

I worked with Interface to create an animation to spread awareness of innovation initiatives within the company. The illustrations were created in pen and ink, then scanned, blown up and treated to give the film a graphic consistency. The whole thing was then animated in After Effects.

The League of Intrapreneurs

The League of Intrapreneurs is a competition launched by Ashoka Changemakers in association with Imaginals, Accenture and IIC which encourages innovative thinking and problem solving within businesses.

I worked with Imaginals to create a series of illustrations representing archetypes which would help people to identify with the types of behaviour encouraged by the competition. I also created a suite of animated assets and typographic treatments which were used in the promotional videos, entrepreneur toolkits and related promotional materials.

Kyra Maya PhillipsA suite of illustrations and type treatments for author Kyra Maya Phillips to use as personal branding for her websites and social media.

The illustrations include a head and shoulders portrait, a lifestyle portrait depicting Kyra surrounded by her favourite books and music, and a typographic logo treatment, all executed in a pared down, graphic colour palette.

A really fun project for Pavilion Books, creating the cover artwork and internal illustrations for this brilliant humorous book by Fiona Bowron.

How to Keep a werewolf on Pavilion Books

An illustrated social media campaign for McDonald’s created for RazorFish London.

This campaign was based around the idea of helping customers to make difficult decisions like how to dress, how to style their hair and how to get to work, so they could concentrate on the more pressing issue of whether to choose a bacon or sausage McMuffin.

Each execution of the idea featured around 12 individual illustrations which cycled rapidly in sequence, the viewer is invited to tap the image to stop the animation and reveal the result to their question.

I worked with Future Proof to create this animated film for MQ, a new British charity focussed on mental health.

I was responsible for all visual aspects of the project, creating friendly and diverse characters, simple graphic environments, and typographic sequences to create a charming and approachable explainer video to introduce the charity.

300million asked me to create a 360 degree panoramic drawing of London as seen from one of the top storeys of the Dashwood building near Liverpool Street station. The drawing was then blown up to around 13 metres in length and displayed in the foyer of the building.

SAS design approached me to create a series of simple black and white line drawings of buildings from the Land Securities portfolio. The images were featured in the company annual report.

I worked with D8 design to create a series of line drawings for a brochure about green investment initiatives.
